Fashion Sakala has had a somewhat slow start to life with Rangers, but the Zambia international has burst into life with the striker bagging a hat-trick against Motherwell.

The 24-year-old attacker played a key role in Rangers’ 6-1 win over the Scottish Premiership side as Steven Gerrard’s men claimed a huge result in the race for the title.

With Celtic drawing 0-0 this weekend, Rangers now sit four points ahead of their Glaswegian rivals. Moreover, it was a weekend to remember for Sakala after scoring his first hat-trick for the club.

The Zambian international becomes the first player from the African nation to score a hat-trick in the history of the Scottish Premiership. And the performance will no doubt improve Sakala’s confidence.

The striker had only scored once in all competitions before this afternoon’s clash. Moreover, Gerrard and company will no doubt be proud of Sakala for hitting an incredible treble in a crucial SPL fixture.

Indeed, attacker arrived in Scotland with a big reputation, and his hat-trick against Motherwell could be the beginning of Sakala’s rise to form with Rangers.
