Conte has said that Gil is a very good prospect and could be a huge success for Tottenham in the future.
The former Chelsea and Inter Milan boss has said that the Spain international winger understands football technically, adding that he is getting better from a physical point of view.
Conte had earlier said that Gil – who moved to North London outfit Tottenham from La Liga club Sevilla in the summer of 2021 for £21.6 million (Sky Sports) – needed to do better to succeed in the Premier League.
Antonio Conte on Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil
Conte said: “Gil is a really good prospect. He is becoming stronger, physically, because he has in this moment only this gap for Premier League, it’s physical, you know?
“Otherwise technically he understands football in an important way. I’m sure that we’re talking about a player that will be an important prospect for the future.
“Now he’s building also, he’s improving on the physical aspect and for us that’s important.”
Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte’s latest remarks on Bryan Gil show how much the winger has progressed and improved as a footballer.
The 21-year-old is still young and developing, and Conte’s comments suggest that Tottenham have full faith in him.
The winger is going to improve under Conte if he trains well and makes the most of the chances he will get in competitive games for Tottenham.
