It’s a bold strategy, Cotton — bringing back ESPN8: The Ocho for 2022. We think it’ll pay off, though. This year’s Ocho slate will feature 24 hours of seldom seen sports from around the world, including 14½ hours of live competition from The Rock Hill Sports & Event Center and Manchester Meadows in South Carolina. Here’s how to catch all the events:
How to watch
The action begins at midnight ET, when we’ll air the annual Corgi Races at Emerald Downs.
Other highlights include air hockey, table hockey, TeqBall, axe throwing, chase tag, wiffle ball and death diving. Also, make sure to tune in to the American Cornhole League events at 4 and 8 p.m. ET, when ACL pros will team up with celebrities for the competition. Special guests include Jay Cutler, Doug Flutie, Terry Kirby, Ben Rector, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, Dawn Staley, Chris Weidman and ESPN and SEC Network’s own Marty Smith. Smith and Ryan McGee will also host a one-hour special, “The Ocho Show” at 2 p.m. ET.
