John Aldridge has written in The Sunday World that he would love to see Kylian Mbappe join Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
The former Liverpool star believes that Mbappe is a big fan of the Merseyside club.
However, Aldridge does not think that the France international forward will make a move to Liverpool this summer.
Aldridge wrote in The Sunday World: “Karim Benzema is back for France after a long time in the international wilderness, but Mbappe is the player who gives them the magic sparkle and he can turn any game with a flash of genius.
“He is a better all-around player than Kane, but he might not be as clinical in front of goal and France need him to have a finishing touch to match his class if he is to shine this summer.
“Mbappe is constantly linked with a move to Liverpool and while I’d love to see him at Anfield, I’d say there is more chance of me starting up front for Jurgen Klopp next season.
“It looks like Mbappe is a big Liverpool fan and on that basis, it would be great to see him get a move to Merseyside, but deals like that are well out of the club’s financial reach right now.”
Could Kylian Mbappe end up at Liverpool?
Mbappe has long been linked with a move to Liverpool.
The striker has one year left on his contract at PSG.
PSG have consistently said that they will not sell the 22-year-old this summer.
Remember, PSG are a rich club, and the French outfit are not under any financial pressure to cash in on any of their best players.
However, Liverpool are a powerhouse, and players would love to play under manager Jurgen Klopp.
If all these reports about Mbappe willing to move to Liverpool are true, then the former Premier League champions should at least make a bid.
