Miami’s premier hip-hop music festival Rolling Loud has announced the latest rescheduled dates along with the confirmed artist lineup for its return to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens this summer.
The 2021 Rolling Loud lineup for the three-day event, now scheduled to take place over the weekend of July 23-25, is led by the originally planned 2020 headliners A$AP Rocky (Friday), Travis Scott (Saturday), and Post Malone (Sunday).
Other artists who were initially featured on the 2020 lineup who’ve been carried over to this summer’s event include “WAP” singer Megan Thee Stallion, T-Pain, 21 Savage, Rick Ross, Lil Uzi Vert, Fetty Wap, Chief Keef, Lil Yachty, Gucci Mane, and Tyga.
Some previously announced acts didn’t make it onto this summer’s slate, including headline-level rap stars like Action Bronson and Big Sean.
What to Know Before Visiting Rolling Loud Miami
Amid the stampede of festival announcements that occurred over the past three months, we’ve now reached the part of the year where it’s time to actually pack some bags and coordinate a plan (take it from personal experience — you should never head out to a fest without a plan). One of the first major music festivals of the year is coming up fast, too: hip-hop fest Rolling Loud Miami.
The 2021 fest is Rolling Loud’s first in two years, after postponing the 2020 event due to Covid-19. With stir-crazy fans scrambling to secure tickets after a year quarantine, it was hard to see it then get pushed back yet again from May of this year to July.
But Rolling Loud is rolling ahead, and though we’ve shared our tips before for what to pack for your first post-vax concert (especially if you’re a little rusty with this whole “festival crammed with thousands of hot, sweaty people” thing), we’ve got some specific info to make your festival comeback at Rolling Loud as memorable (and easy) as possible.
Rolling Loud Miami 2021 Lineup and Basic Info
So now that you’ve got your passes secure, here’s the low-down on the 2021 festival. First off, the event will be taking place over three days, from July 23rd to 25th at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
One silver lining to the rescheduled event: Many performers who were originally booked to perform at last year’s installment are set to perform at the 2021 festival.
A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, and Post Malone will headline, with the fest also featuring Megan Thee Stallion, Rick Ross, Lil Baby, 21 Savage, Young Thug, DaBaby, Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and “special guest” Bobby Shmurda.
Gucci Mane, T-Pain, Kodak Black, Tyga, Gunna, Swae Lee, Roddy Ricch, Jack Harlow, City Girls, Rod Wave, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Nav, Polo G, Sheck Wes, Bob Da Packman, Ski Mask the Slump God, Curren$y, Fetty Wap, Chief Keef, Wale, Lil Tjay, Lil Yachty, Young Dolph, and Rico Nasty also round out the expansive, 130-artist lineup.
As of right now, there’s, unfortunately, no site map or set times up on the site, but those will be released soon.
Unlike other festivals, such as Lollapalooza, you won’t have to require proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test to attend Rolling Loud Miami. In accordance with local and state laws, face masks are also not mandatory at the festival, however, to decrease the risk of spreading Covid-19, masks are encouraged for everyone (as is getting fully vaccinated before you go).

Rolling Loud Lineup Is More Inclusive of Women — But There’s Work Yet to Be Done
Women have been killing the rap game in 2021. And, slowly, they’ve begun to creep their way up the ranks of performers at Rolling Loud, Miami’s biggest hip-hop festival.
The festival has boosted the careers of Cardi B, Doja Cat, and City Girls, to name a few. This year, organizers seem proud to be able to boast of more than 20 female acts, ranging from established stars like Megan Thee Stallion to lesser-known acts on the come-up like Tia Corine, Bia, and Dess Dior.
The first-ever Rolling Loud staged in 2015 at Soho Studios, offered few, if any, female acts. The following year brought three female acts, Jay Hype, Rene Brown, and Leaf, all of them billed on the very bottom line.
The needle didn’t move much in 2017, when out of 54 artists, again, only three women — Polly A, Drizzy, and Teenear — were booked to perform.
Rolling Loud Needed Only One Thing to Survive the Pandemic: The Fans
On the night of March 4, 2020, Tariq Cherif was posted up at the bar inside SOB’s in New York City watching DJ Scheme and Danny Towers, two acts he serves as manager for, perform.
It had been a little over a month since the Rolling Loud co-founder and his team announced the lineup and ticket sales for the upcoming sixth edition of the festival in Miami.
As he sipped on his drink, a small thought crept into his head: Yo, this might be the last time we do this for a while.
In the weeks that followed, the pandemic would shut down the entire globe and kneecap the music industry. The discussions surrounding COVID-19’s impact had already been echoing throughout the U.S. for weeks after countries in Asia and Europe reported outbreaks.
Despite those reports, Rolling Loud attempted to move forward with the in-person festival scheduled to take place at the Hard Rock Stadium on May 8-10, 2020.
